Bev Rivero
I’ve spent the past decade plus as part of the independent press publishing community. As a publicist working in-house at notable social justice oriented imprints, it’s been a pleasure to help launch the books of so many activists committed to cultural change, thought leaders, educators and other great writers. Being able to amplify important books focusing on prison abolition, migrant justice, and much more is where I belong.
As book promotion continually evolved, I found that I really enjoyed creating graphics and shareables for social media as part of book campaigns and being part of teams that worked on video content. I decided to push my experience in design and visual creative work to further supplement my communications skills, with the goal of being even better positioned to amplify authors and their work across all mediums. This site showcases my student graphic design work, as well as other projects, ranging from print design work to social media cards and graphics used to launch books, support author tours, and more.
